Whether it's the Blake Lively and Taylor Swift friendship breakup or Kendrick Lamar and Drake feud, people are drawn to stories about friend drama.
The most important components of a page-turning story are character and conflict.
In this writing workshop, students will write short stories about two friends who are having a problem. The student will participate in a lesson about how to craft characters and generate conflict that will boost interest in a story. Students will be encouraged to share their work and give each other positive and helpful feedback in a supportive setting.
